Image
EXERCISE 09: PIVOT TABLE & PIVOT CHART      For this Exercie 09, we will be exploring the functionality of the Pivot Charts in Microsoft Excel. I personaly do not have that much idea and clue on how to use pivots charts from my previous years and I am lucky to have discovered it as it really is an efficient way to get specific data from a general table.      Upon commanding the Pivot Chart, there are four categories/areas to create certain table and filter out graph results. For instance, the Columns basically imply the portions of data that will be distrubuted in columns. As for the Rows, the information will be basically used and distributed by rows. For the Values, this will be numerical datas or will convert informations to numerical datas by the use of counts. When it comes to the Filter, it will be a setup for the whole table wherein the data placed in this area will be the main focus of the Pivot table. MAIN DATA TABLE WHAT IS THE TOTAL AMOUNT SO...

EXERCISE 08: PAYROLL

Image
EXERCISE 08: PAYROLL      For this exercise, the main task is to use various formulas such as: VLOOKUP, IF Conditions, AVERAGE, MAXIMUM, and MINIMUM. Way back when I was on Grade-11, I was introduced to this formulas on Google Sheets and understood the elements needed to avoid errors on the formula. As of today, I recall some few formulas, but it was a relief to actually have my old files to use as reference. I have used the same business set-up with the previous exercise which is the "Haus of Cookies" with a total of 6 employees to run the small business. PAYROLL PAYROLL FORMULAS

EXERCISE 07: CHART, SORTING FILTER, SUBTOTAL

Image
EXERCISE 07 CHART, SORTING FILTER, SUBTOTAL     For this Exercise, we are tasked to apply column formats that would allow to sort each data in a specific order using the drop down menu. I created this Food Service Restaurant type of business to be the base for the data and information that I will be using. These commands are really helpful in easily identifying a certain information  as the filters provide direct results. In creating the graph, I used the idea of Movie Genres as a basis for the data needed in order to complete the graph.  SORTED DATA OF ID TYPE LOWEST TO HIGHEST SORTED DATA OF NAME A TO Z SORTED DATA OF LOAN AMOUNT HIGHEST TO LOWEST FILTERED DATA OF ITEM DESCRIPTION  A TO Z FILTERED DATA OF ITEM TYPE  A TO Z SORTED DATA OF DEADLINE TYPE NEWEST TO OLDEST SUBTOTAL DATA OF LOAN AMOUNTS CUSTOM GRAPH BASED ON MOVIE GENRE

EXERCISE 06: BUDGET AND SUPPLIES & CUSTOMER INVOICE

Image
EXERCISE 06: BUDGET AND SUPPLY  & CUSTOMER INVOICE      In this activity, we are tasked to use the full potential of Microsoft Excel by using commands and various formulas that would be really useful and efficient for common job taskings. I have decided to have this Cookie Business as a basis for the computations and data for the formulas to function.  BUDGET AND SUPPLY      For the Budget and Supply, I researched on the main ingredients and packaging tools used to run a Cookie Business. I included specified measurements to be more accurate. The photo below displays the formulas that I have used. It can be seen that I used a conditional formatting for the Peso Sign in order to not encode manually. CUSTOMER INVOICE      When it comes to the Customer Invoice, it is actually just the similar process. I made  sure that I encoded the right cell numbers for the formula to avoid confusing and misleading results. With the whole tab...

EXERCISE 04: MICROSOFT WORD MANUAL

Image
MICROSOFT WORD MANUAL SAVING & SHARING A DOCUMENT I have chosen the topic about how to Save and Share Microsoft Word Dosuments as I do believe that it is the most constant and important process to ensure that the progress is saved and on how sharing documents can be really efficient for school works.  _______________________________________________________________________________ 01   INSERT COVER PAGE      For the Document Cover Page, I have chosen the template design called "Insight 1", which can be found by clicking on the Insert > Cover Page > More Cover Pages from Office.com. By altering the Colors together with the text Font Style and Font Size, the cover page stays coordinated with the general design. _______________________________________________________________________________ 02   INSERT HEADER AND FOOTER      The Header has a Color Palette that stays in the spectrum of royal blue as a representation of the Microso...

EXERCISE 03: SMART ART GRAPHICS

Image
_______________________________________________________________________________ INFOGRAPHIC DESIGN       This exercise in general challenged me to understand the use of Smart Art Templates provided by Microsoft Office. At first there were certain parts that took me time to understand such as the adding of columns for this Infographic. To unify my creative thought for this Infographic, I created digital artworks that would accompany the whole design.  _______________________________________________________________________________ HIERCHY CHART      On creating this Heirchy Chart, I have formulated an idea of a small cafe business compossed of 6 employees an 1 head manager/owner. The taskings are divided in 3 which are the Financial Department, Service Department, and Production Stocks Department. The Assistant Manager is incharge of daily supervision of how the employees work and the customer service. With the Head Barista, the taskings can be distrubut...

EXERCISE 02: MAIL MERGING

Image
MAIL MERGE - The Insight and Process Behind the Exercise Exercise#02 was quite challenging because on my previous years, I got used to using Google Docs which had a similar set up but a little less advance compared to Microsoft Word. With the guide the Ms. Belle provided, it sure was easy to follow and I honestly feel proud of the result. And it sure is a useful learning that I can apply in work emailing. I made a consistent design throughout the letter, from the use of formal fonts and colors that goes well with each other (Yellow-Green and Teal). For the graphics, I drew this landscape and added a character to add that artistic flare and a decorative piece to make the letter look eye-catching and decent.

IDENTIFICATION OF THE PARTS OF MICROSOFT WORD Microsoft Word, Guide to the Composed Parts , Cabiles With this being my very first activity in this subject, it honestly was a great start! As the title suggests, this Activity is about identifying the parts of Microsoft Word . During elementary, I recall discovering the functions and parts of editing applications like: MS word. MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and many more. From that fresh idea of how this apps work, I was then introduced to the subject SCI-TECH and was able to narrow down my thoughts with regards the tools and functions that could ease my work. In the finished design, I used contrasting colors ( Pale Yellow & Shades of Blue ). Taking inspiration from a cartoonish style, I used " Pointing Hands " and turned the Microsoft Word logo into a fun cartoon character. Upon finishing the task, I realize that it could have made a bigger difference if I used contrasting colors to avoid difficulty in reading the words.
